Explore

Not everything
needs a name.

01 The space

Explore is where ideas exist before they become something else.

Not every idea starts as a product. Some begin as questions, observations, experiments, or unusual possibilities.

This is where we keep those ideas visible. Some may eventually become projects. Others may change completely. Some may simply remain interesting ideas.

There is value in exploring something before deciding what it should become.

02 Exploring now

Questions worth following.

01

Objects that feel different

Exploring how everyday physical products can become simpler, more useful, and more considered.

02

Software without unnecessary friction

Looking at how digital tools can remove complexity instead of adding another layer of it.

03

New ways to tell stories

Exploring video, visual language, technology, and different ways of communicating an idea.

04

The space between things

Some of the most interesting ideas appear between established categories. We are interested in those spaces.

03 Ideas

A collection of possibilities.

Some ideas are too early to become projects. That does not make them irrelevant.

We keep a running collection of concepts, questions, product ideas, technical experiments, visual directions, and other possibilities that may be worth returning to.

Think of it as a workshop for ideas rather than a catalogue of finished work.

04 From the notebook
01

What if everyday objects were modular?

Exploring products that can adapt instead of being replaced every time requirements change.

02

What should a truly personal device do?

Rethinking the relationship between people, devices, notifications, and attention.

03

Can physical and digital products feel like one thing?

Exploring products where software and hardware are designed together rather than treated as separate experiences.

04

How can video become more interactive?

Investigating different relationships between video, interfaces, and the viewer.

05

What happens when categories disappear?

Exploring products and experiences that cannot be easily described as hardware, software, or media alone.

05 Experimentation

An unfinished idea is still an idea.

Exploration gives us permission to build something without knowing exactly where it will end.

A prototype can reveal a problem that was invisible on paper. A failed experiment can eliminate an entire direction. A small observation can eventually become a product.

The purpose is not to make every experiment successful.

The purpose is to find out what happens.
